Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
